Sprint no longer offering Windows Phones

While Windows Phone is slowly increasing its market share in developing nations, Microsoft is yet to make an impact in USA which is its home country. And it does not look like it is going to get better anytime soon as Sprint is no longer selling windows phones on its website. Sprint is currently the third largest network provider.

Sprint no longer offering Windows Phones

However Sprint has promised to offer the Nokia Lumia 830 and 735 in coming months. The network provider has been a strong supporter of the four year old platform and will continue to do so in months and years to come. In a statement written by the company, an official said,

We do expect to bring new Windows Phone devices to our customers in the near future, and Sprint is committed to offering a variety of operating systems to our customers.

Windows Phone has been widely supported by all major US cellular providers such as AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint which used to sell HTC 8XT and Samsung ATIV S Neo.
